The Edinburgh Military Tattoo is joy to behold, and if you are lucky enough to visit Edinburgh when it is on, it is a must see event. With a world wide TV audience of 100 million and 220,000 ticket sales it is one of the greatest shows on earth, combining International military bands and display teams from all around the world.

International military regiments and even African tribes have performed at the Tattoo over the years. The first regiment from outside the UK to take part was the Band of the Royal Netherlands Grenadiers in 1952.
